Day 4

Subject: What evergreen niche is right for you, [firstname]?

Hi [firstname],

Today I want to look at how you can discover the evergreen niche (or sub-niche) that's right for you. Obviously, the more time you take now, the better the results will be.

First off, look at your own life experiences. I'm sure there are plenty of things you've done in your life that other people haven't.

For example: Have you lost weight? If so, how? Did you train a dog? Get back into the dating game after a divorce? Cope with an elderly relative suffering from dementia? That sort of thing.

In what areas could you rapidly transition to being an expert?

This is important because you'll need to write a lot of stuff as part of your marketing efforts be that ads., articles, eBooks, videos and so on. If you don't know what you're talking about, it shows. Sure, you can farm this out, but if you don't know anything, how will you know if the person doing the writing is any good?

If you really DON'T know anything about an evergreen subject, but your niche research shows it could be a money-spinner, don't worry. You can learn about the subject in detail. This takes longer, but you can still achieve good results.

First of all, take a look at blogs in that niche. You should do this anyway to see what your soon to be competitors are doing, what their writing style is like, and so on. Read books on the subject. Hang out on niche forum sites to see what sort of things people are talking about. Sites like Yahoo! Answers and reddit.com are also great sources of information people talk about their wants, needs, triumphs, frustrations, desires and more on these sites. They're all great sources of information which will help you in the long run. Looking on these sites will also help you to stay on trend with what's happening right now.

Warmly,

[Your Name]
